Scenarios Vs "Kill em All" games

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if you could talk about your experiences using the scenarios in the core and BW rulebooks. Our play group usually does a "free-for-all" type melee and so we haven't really played the scenarios much.

If you have could you please take a moment and comment about it, let me know if it Added, or Distracted from the game, and how you liked them.

thanks

The scenarios are useful for learning the rules and different types of games.

What I've done to vary things is to play the Judges as the law enforcement officers they are.
I went through some Mongoose books and Judge Dredd casefiles and identified 40 something different types of crime (you'll be surprised how often the same type of crime has cropped up over the years!!!).

I've then typed up some 'crime counters' in powerpoint, printed them out and stuck them to a pack of playing cards. Give the cards a shuffle and then draw and then go solve the crime.

Provides a different gaming experience to straight up shoot'em ups.

We played the Mall scenario, which was kind of cool. We also did the demolition one, which seems a difficult one for the defender,
