Scanners to Full...Cumulative?

Hi All! I am wondering if the Scanners to full can be cumulative? Ex: I have 3 fighters attempting it vs a single ship with Stealth 5 (separately, not adding the +1 to the roll of others). By some miracle, they are successful. Does the enemy ship now reduce its Stealth by 3?

Or are fighters like Scout ships and can only reduce stealth by 1 on a single ship?

Nope, not cumulative, can be stacked with other methods though (such as scouts, ancient/drakh under 8" bonus

Since you mention it, I assume your aware of the bonus for multiple stands attempting the QC check

Thanks for the quick answer! Thats what we thought...just wanted to make sure.

Yes, we knew about the combined modifier for multiple flights...but I did have a question on that too: Can you have so many flights as to make it automatic or does a 1 always fail?

I know I might have had this pointed out to me before but where does it say a 1 on a CQ check is a fail, I can find the bit about a 6 on an unopposed check being an auto success, but nothing about auto fails.

Don't think it is. The automatic fail on a 1 is for firing only.
