Good show as usual, made all the better by a chance conversation with Matt on the Mongoose stand unexpectedly leading to me walking away with my Kickstarter Manta. At the time I told him he had made my day but as I had left the car at home and had to lug the damn thing home on public transport my enthusiasm waned somewhat....
Its a heavy old beast and is a lovely model, they have made the perfect compromise between scale and making it a realistic gaming piece.
The Patwagon was also on display and looked great.

The Patwagon did look good and is going to be a lot more affordable than the Manta. I have a photo but I haven't had time to clean it up or resize it yet but I'll get it up on the blog as soon as I can. The one thing I would say about the Manta is that the detailed panel lines look very subtle and being black it will need some subtle highlighting to get them to show cleanly.
