Damnit I really want to go to Salute this year.... I hope I inherit some money before next weekend or something... mumble mumble...Although on the plus side I suppose not having to endure the smoke in the summer is its own reward

I'll secound that, I crave pictures of Salute! (Not just mongoose ones either lol) Really bummbed that I didnt have the cash to go this year I kinda wanted some of those croc games Spartans
No piccies, I'm afraid. Wave 3 was there in spirit, with one box of each mini set, but not for sale (Boo! Hiss!). However, they were taking pre-orders for both Wave 3 boxes and the rulebook, to be delivered some time next week.
Preview copy of the rulebook was there, and looked very nice. Full colour throughout with lots of interesting looking stuff.
Also in evidence were an alternate paint scheme for the USMC in rather natty green cammo for Shadows, USMC fireteams and M1's. Apparently its a test run and a 'maybe' for some future time.

shame i couldnt make it
grrrrrr and hmmphhh, hope some one in my absensence took photos for us.
i love salute its great, took my daughter last year and got chatted up by a girl from the hairdressing show or somthing down the way (last year it was held in an amazing building with like 6 different shows going on seperatly !!!)
sorta glad i didnt go in some ways as i would have spent a fortune again on stuff il never use.

So to those who went, how do Wave 3 models in terms or painting and sculpting compare to Wave's 1 & 2?

They were on pre order because they were let down with delivery.
They should be sent out on Monday.
but the singel box of each they had on display looked good.
