RuneQuest Modern

I think Mongoose originally wanted to do this as part of space quest, which got canned in favour of the traveller system.

Call of Cthulhu is great, but by a different company, called Chaosium, and I would highly recommend it.

I am sure you are correct, but I would like to see something created specifically for MRQ that would cover this, either as a supplement or as rules in S&P.
 
You know .. I'd love to see a modern RQ as well. Maybe something like a good espionage game with an indepth setting. Hmm ... how about Bond RQ? ;)

..or better still...

Go out and buy the huge BRP book from Chaosium when it's released.

I'd like to raise my hand to that. WotC has let D20 wither on the vine. MRQ rules are already a better system for modern play and I wouldn't expect MG to abandon the product line like the aforementioned company has done.

Hell, give them a bit of cash and put it into a Star Frontiers format.
