RQ Rules Questions: Leather armor and Sleight

I note that the armor values in the core rules (and the SRD) list the following sorts of leather armor:

Heavy leather hauberk
AP: 2
ENC: 1
Locations: Abdomen, Chest
Cost: 350 SP
Total Skill Penalty: –4%

Heavy leather cap
AP: 2
ENC: 1
Locations: Head
Cost: 75 SP
Total Skill Penalty: –2%

Leather hauberk
AP: 2
ENC: 1
Locations: Abdomen, Chest
Cost: 150 SP
Total Skill Penalty: –4%

Leather shirt
AP: 1
ENC: 1
Locations: Abdomen, Arms, Chest
Cost: 150 SP
Total Skill Penalty: –4%

Leather trews
AP: 1
ENC: 1
Locations: Legs
Cost: 100 SP
Total Skill Penalty: –2%

It looks like the AP for the Leather Hauberk is incorrect. It should be 1, instead of 2, right? This would also mean the Total Skill Penalty should be -2 instead of -4. Whatever the answer, the price also looks a bit off.

2nd Question: Does Sleight count as one of the skills that an Armor penalty is subtracted for?

The rulebook has the same stats, but I think you're right on both counts. Cost may be out, but not by much.

Thanks for the answers, but may I question your reasoning for your no to the Sleight question?

While this is not listed as one of the skills that is restricted in the rulebook, it is DEX based, and picking pockets, as well as other uses of Sleight, are traditionally restriced by armor in most other RPGs (I think).

Arms & Equipment book states Leather Hauberk as AP 1, price 125 SP.

There is some other small fixes as well.

I'm just using the list of skills affected by the AP penalty on page 38 of the core rulebook. Sleight isn't included, although there's a decent argument to say it should be.

(btw, the rule doesn't say all Dex based skills, it just says most, and then goes on to specifically list those affected).
