I made a reference to Macha on another websiter forum ( 2000AD Online) the other day.
I said her full name was Macha Mac-Roth by mistke.
I was corrrected.
Being told Mac Roth means Son of Roth.
Which leaves me wondering who was Macha the daughter of ?
Who was Roth the Son of ?
Apaprt from being called 'Belly-Shaker' which stricty became his own descriptive title.
How might thier respective last names be effected by marriage?
I have consulted the 'Bride of Croim' Epsiode Three and it offers no more information unless I missed something.
I beleive that si sotry where Slaine actualley marries Niamh, not hios coroantion where he marries the Earth Goodess.
I talking about his joining with his betrothed Naimh.
I guess it doesn't matter if Pat Mills didn't bother with a family tree that further than Slaine's /Niamh's parents.
All I know about her is that she was a export from aniother tribe, that I temporialy forget the name of.
Knowing that name, might be her last name as people are sometimes named after places .
But that is all I know.
