Rl analogues of different "nations"? (Dragon Warri

A little while back I'm pretty sure I saw a post where someone listed the different "nations" and their RL analogues.

I'm mainly concerned with Ellesland but a brief rundown of the Land of Legends would be cool.


It's easier for me to associate them with a RL medieval society so I can keep them straight in my head.


So who are the Celts, Anglo-Saxons, Picts, Scots, etc...Did the Normans invade already?

Ok so I gather that Mercania are Vikings/Norse, Albion is England, any Chaubrette are the Normans/French ?


Anyone have a list, I could've sworn somebody posted it here, maybe it was the yahoo group...
