RIP Brian Williams (1956-2010)

This is with an immense sadness that PA brings us the news of the sudden death of Brian Williams, well-known illustrator of the original LW series, at the age of 54. Brian left our world on the 4th of October in his house in Shefford. The funeral service was held October 22nd. I'm sure the people here at Mongoose would like to offer their sincere condolences to his family and friends. This man helped give life to the words of Joe Dever by his work with the LW series. He will be missed, even if most of us knew very little of him.

May Kai and Ishir guide him to the Plane of Light!

Very sad - his artwork was always superb. At least we will always have that to remember his contribution to Lone Wolf, and to the impact he has had on the lives of so many.

Truly, a loss. His artwork was so exceptional that it significantly defined the series. All future art is compared to either Chalk or Williams.

Each style is unique. May we be as lucky to have the Mongoose art last as long as that of Brian Williams.
