Returning w/ no clue whatsoever

To be honest i havnt even touched a SST mini for about a year...wait i might have picked some up to move them a few months ago....

anyways i was selling a bunch of crap on e-bay and i came across my old arachnid army book and i dont know if its ADD or just plain boredom but i have the urge to get back into it again.

So im busting out all the stuff that i havnt finished painting yet and getting to work but im not sure whether or not its worth the time.

What has happened in the past year or so? I keep hearing about SST:Evo, what is that and how is it different? Can we still use the old models? I dont want an uber description just a heads up on what to expect.

New streamlined rules for faster play. You give up some of the customization, but you don't have to flip through three different books to find an answer, and it's still pretty in depth. Models will be prepainted hard plastic. Four races to start with: Mobile Infantry, Skinnies, Arachnids, and Forth.

Old models will still be okay, in fact most the new models will be based off them. Others will be resculpted (ie a bunch of the Skinnies). Old models will still be produces as long as there's enough interest in them. Current plastics on sale 25% off until SST:Evo launches!
