Unfortunately, LGS closing is a major side effect of the internet only sales providers...
No overheads ya see! They can sell cheap and make more money whilst simultaneously killing the hobby. That's why several companies are taking the decision to only provide to bricks & mortar stores which can help the hobby grow and thrive.

as alot of cities dont have LGS then internet stores are not killing the hobby there, they are helping to keep it alive as people can get hold of stuff they want at a good price too (which also helps keep the hobby alive as people can afford it).

A game shop has recently opened near to us - Northampton. They have GW stuff at a discount and the GW store is only a few doors down. Also Flames of War, Warmachine etc, Magic, AT43 and a few boardgames. No Mongoose stuff yet, although they can special order.
