Resin WWII and Modern vehicles

Mongoose
went to a local con this weekend and one of the dealers had a wide range of resin vehicles available at good prices.

Their product line covers both WWII and Modern/ Vietnam. While not a WWII fan I was surprised to see modern vehicles like AAV, LAV 25, Striker, up armored HMMWV and to versions of MRAP

The only down side of these models are the 1:48 scale and in some areas the detail is a bit fuzzy.

Deal with these guys at your own peril

They are crooks and pirates

They had to change their name from AFAD - All Fronts Armor Depot

They have been banned for the HMGS East Convetions - Historicon & Cold Wars - some of the biggest gaming conventions in the country

Do a search for AFAD or thier new name on theminiaturespage.com they are a rash of broken promises and undelivered merchandise that has been paid for

If you can do a cash tranaction face to face at a show I guess you are safe from being ripped off directly

As for their products - the majority of their product line is pirated castings made from home grown silicon molds of Solido Diecast vehicles or Bandai Model kits

So not only do they have a history of ripping off potential customers - their business model is bassed off stealing the work of others

I won't go into the poor quality of their castings but suffice to say I find these guys dispicable on every level

Supporting them with your dollars only makes it easier for them to take advantage of other members of our community
