Release dates what are they good for?

Yup, the same here in Germany.
Not a single model in every shop I asked.
Same with the distributor they never had one.
So for me it's hard to believe that it is the distributors or shop owners fault!

It is unlikely to be the fault of the shop owner. However, all CTA models are available to the distributors. Whether or not a distributor wants to keep them all in stock is another question.

If your local store is having trouble finding CTA ships, drop us a line (or ask them to) at afennell@mongoosepublishing.com. We will be able to help them out.

ok, for the minis would it be good for a second foundery here in the UK matt, I for one would go for the job if there is a SW UK foundery

We have looked into it.

However, we have increased the amount of stock we keep in the UK, and now have more regular deliveries from the US. If you order something we do not happen to have in stock, it should now take a _maximum_ of ten days for us to get it out to you.

but then my LGS does want some, and their Distributor is telling them they can't get hold of any :-( and the distributor in question afaik is one of the bigger ones in the UK!

I can tell you that one of the main distributors in the UK only stocks fleet boxes and a small number of the very latest releases - they do not carry the whole range (over two hundred product codes in the CTA range, which not all distributors like to deal with). As for the other two distributors in the UK we supply with CTA models, the full range is available to them.

So do you want to tell me that the distributors in Germany are not interested in selling the latest models / books since Christmas 2006?
And because of that they don't order enough / any of them?
Cause that is roughly the time frame when it got really hard to lay hands on any new Product or one of the older models.

Ok guys, straight from the horses mouth here. We stock a bucketload of B5, we talk with other stores which also carry B5 and everybody has the same issue; no ships...
There are 3 UK suppliers, I have spoken will all 3 of them in person today and all 3 have confirmed that there are still no new ships to be had within the UK, this includes the Gaim, Ka Bintak, G Vrahn, etc, etc.
Regardless of what anybody else says here on this forum I can tell you that all 3 suppliers are being told that a shipment will be heading toward the UK "later this month or early next..." and that they will have a selection of unspecified new releases. Again, all 3 are saying the same thing that they don´t know exactly when this shipment will be dispatched, when it will land or what exactly it contains but that there "is a good chance" that some new stuff is coming.
Hopefully, this means that by around Mid November there will be a large amount of readily available new releases in the UK, it looks like we will be hit enmasse by new releases next month but everybody is very very reluctant to confirm anything at all until they actually have the ships in their hands.

this is the same as I hear from hobby box, cant get anything new which is pretty much anything out this year.
