The Travellers are hired to transport hundreds of freed human slaves from a former world of the Glorious Empire to sanctuary. A beneficent Aslan clan lord has lent them a ship for the job. There is just one catch – they must go no farther than six parsecs. To make matters worse, they are being hunted by forces who desperately want to prevent them from reaching their goal. With a vulnerable and poorly armed ship, the Travellers must use their wits to deliver the refugees to safety.

Exodus is set near the borders of the Glorious Empire and the Aslan Hierate where centuries of warfare have devastated the region. The Glorious Empire has left billions of human slaves behind on the worlds they have lost. Eager to obtain the land on these worlds, the Hierate is torn between deporting the humans, converting them into a labour caste, or terminating them in a genocide of epic proportions.

The Travellers’ voyage takes on symbolic meaning. Success could trigger a mass exodus of humans from Aslan space. Failure might spell their doom.

Exodus includes the following:

Bad Betty, a modified Khtukhao-class Aslan clan transport
Little Betty, the Bad Betty’s sleek shuttle
Ausiyr Aslan assault helicopter

Getting this next time I do a multiple books order :) , but I have a Christopher-Griffen-related question: do you think we'll see a printed Makergod from Mongoose Publishing anytime in the future?

No plans as yet, but we have Mr Griffen busy with several other projects :)

Sounds like an exciting adventure!

A question about Little Betty, the shuttle: is this an Aslan Shuttle, and if so is it any different from the design in High Guard?

The shuttle is the same one shown in High Guard with the described modifications. The captain of the Bad Betty had the ship's docking bay refit for a human-style shuttle.

Great, thanks for sharing!

I’ve had ideas about doing something similar to this (transporting loads of refugees) so I might just have to pick this one up as a source for good ideas :)

The Aslan were created by Man.

They rebelled.

They evolved.

They look and feel anthropomorphic.

Some are acculturated to think they are human.

There are many clones.

And they have a plan.

How many pages is this and roughly how long would it take to play?

41 pages including the ships, equipment and vehicle sections. Length of adventure probably depends on the group’s play style, but I’d say three or four sessions.

It’s got the potential to really launch a campaign in the region if the referee desires. It could also be added to a ‘Pirates of Drinax’ campaign under the right circumstances (I.e., get the Harrier out of the story).

It would make a quite good intro to Pirates of Drinax... why does king Oleb want these particular travellers to crew the Harrier?

Because he heard about them and their success in the Exodus adventure :)

You might wanna re-check the lil’ Betty though. It’s M-drive looks copy/pasted from big Betty and according to the stat block it has both cabin space and acceleration seats, but no low berths.

Other than that it looks fine, and I’m gonna give the whole adventure a proper read-through as soon as I find the time :)

Does Mongoose know the "Printed Release Date" for Exodus? And what happens to the "Shipping and Handling: £8" if I pre-order different books with a single order?

Cheers, already trapped this one, update coming this week.

It will be about 3 months' time - will update the schedule very soon (more goodies to go on!).

You only pay for shipping once, no matter what you order, and everything gets shipped as soon as it comes in.

The copy of the adventure that I have, the tonnages for the Bad Betty are a little weird; it adds up to 605.6 dTons. It is not a big deal to just reduce the 'cargo' from 85 to 79.4 (+15 dTons of additional leftover space in Engineering) -- but this means that each refugee has only ~0.1 dTon for baggage, which seems a little thin for 'setting up a new colony' supplies. I guess refugees cannot afford much.
