Just in time for Christmas, a brand new Traveller adventure for you, written by fan favourite M J Dougherty - Reach Adventure 3: The Calixcuel Incident.

You can grab your own copy here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/201057/Reach-Adventure-3-The-Calixcuel-Incident?affiliate_id=7242

In The Calixcuel Incident, the Travellers are visiting an underwater city when a disaster causes it to begin leaking. Amid the chaos, they discover they have the means to save the entire city, if they can only reach and start the auxiliary reactor. However, the reactor is located in a secure bunker on the seabed, separate from the city, and between the Travellers and their destination are mobs of panicking citizens, jammed bulkhead hatches and several kilometres of ocean.

Not to mention the squid….

The Calixcuel Incident includes full rules for:

* Robodivers
* Orbney’s Pseudosquid
* Diving Suits
* Cargo & Work Submarines
* The Calixcuel Incident

Just purchased this, and think it's the best adventure you've published. Will you be putting out a dead tree version, like the other adventures?

At print right now! Expect to see it in 2-3 months.

I enjoyed reading this one. Can't wait to get the players there. Also nice planet to revisit and use for further use. And some nice tech bits. More of these please!

The blurb sets The Calixcuel Incident in an underwater city.
Does this follow on from the previous two published Reach adventures and set nearby?
Which planet? - I'd like to have my players think they planned on heading that way anyway.

Good tactic :)

The Reach Adventures (and Marches Adventures, for that matter) are not linked - they are specifically designed to be dropped into more or less any campaign at any point (we have thought about doing a grand sector map in the future that lists the locations of all adventure and location-specific patrons, so you can 'trigger' them whenever your players land on a specific world). Note that this is very different from the likes of the Pirates of Drinax, which is a complete, linked campaign (and more of those are coming!). We want to keep you chaps well-stocked from both angles!

Reach Adventure 3 is set on the world of Chalchiutlicue (and the forthcoming Reach Adventure 4: Last Flight of the Amuar - a re-imagining of the old classic Leviathan - starts on Pax Rulin).

I like the name "Orbney's pseudosquid". Unless it's a transplanted life form from Earth, it's not a squid, but if it looks like a squid people would call it a squid unless language drift leads to a different sort of name.

I recall describing a cargo for players as "pseudowood" -- a structural product made by tall upright organisms that drew energy from visible light, but had no biological relationship with anything from Earth.

Is this in the Trojan Reaches?

If so, how much did the folks at Mongoose draw from the Third Imperium Magazine?
Thanks!

Thank you! NOW!
