Only in so far as Evo packaging looks a lot like Micromachines packaging from about 7 years ago.

This packaging may be a bit thinner. I made the same comment when it was posted on TMP. I remember seeing Old bear and he showed me the BF Evo packaging, he had spent a long time desiging it (or someone had, btu he told me someone had spent a long time, I just figured it was him). :?

It's a nice packaging design though - and hardly unique, plenty of toys have similar boxes (look at classic Transformers and the more recent BINALTech line). I wonder if they're going to do anything with the inset card though - a plain cream one does match the exterior of the box, but it makes the minis look somewhat lost in side the packaging. I assume they're using one size of box for varying sizes of models?
