1) If a Scout is destroyed, do the effects of any active functions (stealth reduction or target rerolls) end immediately? Unclear what the intent/fluff behind this is - is the Scout constantly relaying info throughout the turn, or does it just "light up" the target and relay better targetting data in an instantaneous pulse?
2) If you capture a carrier via a boarding action while it still has fighters on board, are the fighters also captured? Normal crew obey the orders of enemy troops because they're fairly helpless and often not terribly loyal anyway (eg hired League techs). A fighter pilot sitting in his cockpit isn't nearly as vulnerable, and is probably a House retainer or even noble.
2a) If they aren't captured, can they launch normally (possibly by blasting holes in the hanger doors in the process) or even pull suicide stunts like firing their weapons inside the bays? I'm guessing they're simply captured, but the vision of a Li Halan or Hazat fanatic emptying his meson tubes into the guts of his carrier to prevent the shameful loss of the ship is an amusing one.
3) A fighter can be placed in support of a ship by being placed on its base, and then moves along with the ship as long as its speed isn't exceeded. I don't see any actual clause saying that they can't then proceed to abandon the ship they're escorting and move on their own in the fighter movement phase, but I doubt that's the intention, right? Much as I'd like to effectively double the move of my Al Malik bombers by having them "escort" an advancing ship, it really doesn't seem reasonable at all.
4) My regular opponent wanted me to double check and confirm that fighters do actually give up victory points equal to their full cost when destroyed, rather than half value like ships do. I think I see why, but I thought I'd confirm.
4a) On a related note, at the end of the scenario, are any points scored for "orphan" fighters, ones who have no surviving carrier to land on? Unclear whether they can be assumed to limp home somehow regardless, or if the enemy should get to count them as destroyed as their fuel and life support slowly runs out.
