Questions about 'The Martial Disciple' the WarriorsCompanion

I recently picked up the Warrior's Companion...The Martial Disciple is a new core class in it...but for some reason the Class Features does not list the types of armor the Martial Disciple is proficient in. I'm assuming this is some kind of mistake/typo.

The other thing i noticed is that none of the classes' features includes granting this character the "Brawl" feat..which would seem to be quite necessary for this class. Is this a mistake? or was it not seen as being necessary for this class?

The Martial Disciple is not proficient with any armour.
(Note that even nonproficient classes can still wear Quilted Jerkins without penalty because these have an ACP of 0.)

and whats the reason for not giving the Disciple the Brawl feat i wonder?
