Question on Other Duties in Campaigns

Just quick question.

you roll on the other duties table and get something like "Crucial Effort" from the Dilgar table, or something similar. How long does this duty last for?

Some duties seem to apply for as long as the ship lives, some seem to only have an immediate once off effect and some a bit vague!

Normally, unless the text says that it is a one-off effect (enemy fleet with one fleet point less in the next game), other duties last as long as the ship does
