Question about the Troop Rating

Ok, on some ships the Troop rating is 0 (like on the Delphi) and on other its '-' like on Fighters and Vorlon or Shadow Ships.

Does the '-' now mean, that these Ships cannot be boarded ?

If yes. The Myrmidon LCV has a Troop of '-' so does it mean, it cannot be boarded ?

No, 0 and - are the same thing. Only Vorlons, Shadows and Ancients can't be boarded.

I can't see anywhere that says fighters can't be boarded...

But just you try it! Whats your troops going to do once on board? After they kill the 0 opposing troops, they can only be killed by the valiant crew member, deal crew damage or cause crits. Since fighters don't have a crew score, only rolls of 1 and 6 do anything - 1 would kill your troop, 6 would kill the fighter automatically since one hit kills a fighter. :lol:

A Warbird had virtually no defence against a fighter - no AF, P/S/A or even F weapons... boarding it would be quite funny (if very cheddar) way of dealing with it!

but would a fighter ever move less than half speed? you could always argue, that as it is SM, it flies away, and begins another attack run, even if it stayed next to your all stop ship ;-) you won't catch me out that way, sneaky drazi!!

Hmm... a fighter and breaching pod tag team could be fun for races with poor dogfighters. Fight with the fighters and support with the breaching pods. If you manage to win the dogfight, all good and well. If not, use the breaching pods to board the enemy fighters
