question about the new rule set

quick question

so I heard that this new rules/fleet revisions will be comming out May 1st or 2nd I believe, now does that mean it will be in stores by that date? or just avaliable to order at Mongoose.

I'm just asking because when the 2ed. books first came out, I think it took an addtional month for them to make it to our store, and I would hate to wait that additional time. I am just wondering if this will be similar.

If anyone has a clue, drop a line

There should be the revised Gaim Fleet List in the upcoming S&P.

It's not a 3rd edition. He's referring to the Powers and Principalities book. It will have the updated Gaim and other rules tweaks and additions. I didn't think it was coming out until around August or so though, not May.

Matt also said that the painting guide is going to be coming out very soon.

The next m,ajor rules revision, Powers and Principalities, is expected out as a book sometime later this year.

Sadly I would guess there is less likelyhood of new ships as such due to lack of new models...........

(although there are still a few ships that never got more than the preproduction due to moulds collapsing)

If we are lucky I guess there may be some varients of existing hulls

Vorlon Transport is an a obvious one as it presently comes in two different sizes - one becomes Raid strike ship - (as long as the Shadows get skirmish of course)

Could do something with the larger Olympus model. (Earth will need more ships :wink: )

Abbai could do with some more variants - (hiff has already made them up!!!)

I think there will be much more fan made ships in the future (at least new ship values) to add some more choices to existing fleets.
