I think you could do that pooling of soldiers with Ashigaru troops but since bushi were generally retainers of their commanding officer, you shouldn't be able to randomly distribute them Of course th

I was in the British Army and I don't have specific serial numbers of equipment. Why would you want to know that anyway?

Look here for some kit photographed, though...

Gathering some info for miniatures. Got some " green stuff ' ,wanna try my hand at modeling So many different No. designation British uniforms listed it's hard to tell what's current. Funny, you trip over US stuff but really gotta dig for British and French. Even for photos of troops in action/patrol. Wonder if the British didn't have imbedded reporters during th initial Iraq action like the US [ for better or worse ].

Think I got most current British pics off a surplus site if the current is actually PLCE DPM 95.

Trying to find current French stuff is becoming a major pain.

yes we still wear combat 95 or the code you quoted. at least for general stuff. obviously for desert theres desert camo, arctic theres arctic camo etc :D

well osprey is the current load vest and protection,,,

normaly a med pouch, 2-4 mag pouches, hydration,, and a utility pouch possably..and of course a radio,,all put where ever the soldier likes...in aditionwearing a atakis (think thats spelt right) load bearing vest over the osprey is not unusual, there is a bit of freedon, these guys are profesionals and treated as such,,, all depends on weapon position in fire team and such, for example many minimigunners have a buddy who wears a a spare bullet belt on him for the minimi so his equipment is a little lighter on prsonal mags or grenades.

combat and survival mag ran some great articles a few months back, and shows how varied it can be. ive evan seen brit troopers in lapd vests but only the once.. also missing on the mgp minis si the new neck protection flaps.. so its definatly varied as not all troops like them.
