I've given up on the MRQ rules, but I still have a little hope for "Blood of Orlanth", that it might be a good scenario suitable for conversion back to RQ3.
I have noticed that for some of the Mongoose books, the covers are so bad, that I don't want to pay full price for them. As a result, I don't, and so the guy owning the shop does not sell them, and then he thinks Mongoose books won't sell, so he does not order new Mongoose books, so I don't even see the new books on the shelves.
Yup. Passed on buying a copy of Hawkmoon the other day for this very reason. (Even worse, my sister was going to buy it for me and I told her I didn't want that copy.)
This is a problem with the newer hardbacks.

Other than the post on the boards I haven't had a single response from Matt at either my work email address or my regular email address. I'm feeling like Mongoose has totally dropped the ball and is ignoring my request at some sort of response from them.

I haven't seen your email! Drop me a line via the foums private messages, and I'll get to you ASAP.
On the wider issue, we have finally tracked down the case warping issue, and can now guarantee all books leaving our office (we had a situation where some books were warping after they had left, due to a combination of a shipment of card and humidity levels). If you have any books you are not satisfied with, please drop me a line at msprange@mongoosepublishing.com, and we _will_ replace them for you.
I think what I will do is next time I go to the store, write down the titles and ISBN numbers and see if I can still order them online. I've told the people at the store that Mongoose will replace damaged books, but I don't see why I should have to do their work for them.
But my financial budget says I should wait a while before buying more RPG books.
