Psychocon tourney - anyone?

I've had no interest in the Psychocon tournament that I posted (see sticky).

I had a look at the player locator and there are a few people in the vacinity of Leeds who I thought might be interested. So in case the Sticky has been missed I thought I'd post.

I realise that most people on this forum are quite a journey from Leeds but I would have thought at least someone would have replied.

So, anyone interested in playing? If you know anyone who might but who don't come on the forum please let them know.

sorry, been busy with other things, I'm interested in coming along, can i snaffle a lift from the train station from someone?! I admit i haven't looked at the rules/date/format blah blah, but I have been at least mildly enjoying my recent couple of games.

I just read that, mm, might require a different fleet than i would have chosen for a raid tourney thats for sure.

I'd be coming in from Manchester either direct from piccadily or via huddersfield from my local station

I'll have to check a couple of things before I fully commit though,

The venue isn't that far from the train station. It's about a 5 min walk. Probably about the same as to the corn exchange (only if you know Leeds does that makes sense of course :?).

Quick question.

you state models or card tokens. now I intend playing a fleet i don't own, and I do dislike tokens. Would there be much anger and a curse cast upon my family for a scratchbuild, especially in view of the leck of models currently?

failing that, i've asked burger for some of his 3d card tokens. . i now need to ask someone to take pictures of the relevant ships. .

As long as it's obvious what the models are we'll have no problem with this.

Obviously we don't want deliberate attempts to gain an advantage by confusing your opponants

It's about 3 weeks to this now so just making sure everyone gets a chance to see it (as I find Stickies easy to miss for some reason).

If anyone knows anyone who doesn't visit the forum and might be interested please let them know. Matt told us we'd have some interest but so far it's pretty quite on the forum front.

alas, most of the forumites that aren't the dirty colonials, are dirty southerners! The game, is if not dead, then floundering weakly in heavy seas in my neck of the woods. I'll drop Nomad a mail, if he's not working he may well be interested.

We'll have enough players to have a good enough tourney, but I was just hoping to see a few more new faces, especially from the forum. It's always good to play with new people.

Hopefully I'll be able to make a tourney in the south one day!
