Is it for 2e or 2e compatible?

It's for Mongoose Traveller 1st Edition. If you know 1st Edition, you can tweak things as needed for use in 2nd Edition.

Certain content (certain careers and talents, arguably psionic trauma as well) isn't really suitable for standard-setting Traveller campaigns, either, being better-suited to emulating various non-Traveller books/TV shows/movies.

Also, 2E versions of some of the equipment have writeups in the Central Supply Catalogue.

Not to hijack the thread, but is there a timeline for the Psion book and the special powers mentioned on page 197 of the Core book?

And regarding powers being tweaked to 2nd edition, has anyone done any conversions of the Advanced Talents from the 1st edition Psion book?

The only one that I've seen come up in a game is Personal Enhancement, which works as-is.

I don't understand what you mean by timeline? You mean "This happened, then this happened?"

We don't have a release date set as yet, but this one is in the works.

I'm a huge fan of all the books and supplements for Mongoose Traveller 1st edition. I'm always going through them while world building.

Me too. I also looked into Psion from 1st edition and cannibalized it a bit for my PoD campaign. It's still 2D6, so there's hardly a problem.
