Psi Corp

Some of you may know, I recently got my hands on a civilian ship box to convert into psi-corp ships. And at my LGS it appears to be campaign season, so I decided on a bit of a baptism by fire for my lovely psi-corp fleet.

Its a 5 battle campaign but I'm a little torn as to what to use, I've narrowed my options to the following

1 Shadow Omega
1 Mother ship
2 Hunters

or

4 Chronii
4 Fighter Carriers
1 Apollo Bombardment
1 Mother ship
1 Hunter


The fighter difference is pretty slim, while the swarm list has more, the small list has shadowfuries

I'm just not sure which is better, just wondering about other peoples opinion.

I'd go with the smaller fleet, its more psi-corey.
and sorry to spoil ure plan dan, but the campaigns 10battle, its just the 2e experiment game thats 5 battle

Get the Omega-X in there somehow, but I'd reccomend more numbers than the first fleet has. A compromise between the two...

Hmm, well for numbers I'd like to use the chronii, as I have 6 of them and there my favorite ships, maybe swap one of the hunters out?

I'd drop a Shadow Omega and a Hunter and get more low-level ships in. A campaign fleet needs a broad base of low-level ships supporting a small number of high-level ones. Maybe another Mother Ship and some Shadow Cloaks, or even independant Black Omega wings. You can always add another Omega-X or Hunter later in the campaign.

Shadow Cloaks!! you need Shadow Cloaks! trust me on this, they are dirt cheap, have stealth, can scout, and are perfect initiative sinks to bring your shadow Omegas beam to bear.

Your fleet is very top heavy, who are your opponents, unless they are likely to be top heavy as well, you need to drop a couple of bigger ships and fill your lower priorities

all but 2 of the players in our campaign are rediculusly top heavy,
out of the lists ive had in so far the worst is: 2 ka'bin'taks, fill the gaps with Dak'Kars(im in the process of shouting)

There aren't any gaps if he uses two armageddon level ships.
