I agree. I suspect this has been ruled like this because people could have taken an entire EA list at certain levels and just called it a Psi-Corps list to get the bonus to CQ.Burger said:Yep - another slap in the face for logic, and playing the rules as written. Ho hum.

Bester: I need some ships right now for an important mission involving planetary security.
Clarke: Ah I'm glad you called Mr. Bester. I've got some fantastic ships reserved specially for you and your Psi Corps friends.
Bester: That really won't be necessary.
Clarke: Oh no, nothng but the best of the best for you Mr. Bester! After all you are my most loyal ally.
Bester: No thats fine. Just send me some ships.
Clarke: But these crews have been trained to the peak of performance! They are willing to die for our cause!
Bester: Really it's OK. Any old standard crews will do.

Fortunately, MGP hasn't struck me as being as bad as a certain other gaming company when it comes to this...

After seeing your post multiple times......errr well i can only agree. :S
Also since Psi Corps is a very small fleet, with only a single fleet as possible allies, i guess our group is going to stick with the +1 to CQ.
The other ally fleet is ISA, and they have a good fleet list themsleves plus they get to take allies from many different fleets.

Come on... sure theres an argument for it applying but its hardly reason to not play the fleet unless your a total powergamer who was only going to play it because you you thought it was better than a normal EA fleet....
No, I read the rule and thought that the allies of Psi Corps got the bonus as well... since that's what it says...TenaciousB said:Did nobody read the Best of the Best rule and think that it needed reworded to state that Psi-Corps ships and only Psi-Corps ships should get the bonus????

Logic...How is EA ships which have been commanded to be part of the task force gain sudden CQ boost?
"Oh yes this ship fights against raiders. Then joins psi-corp task force, gain huge CQ boost, leaves it back to be part of EA fleet and suddenly has drop in crew quality..."
Hmmm...Something in that doesn't sound right.
