Progress on 2e

The EA gets the Victory? Makes up for the loss of the nemisis I say. Whoo hoo. I played a game with the victory once. The game was shortened on account of family, but the fighters alone bought it time to maneuver. Had the game not ended, a lot of vree ships were going to die.

Will the ISA lose this then? Its their best ship, theres no way they should lose it. Perhaps let the EA have one in battles (could use rules where the Victory class destroyer can be added to EA fleets like a battle point can to an ISA fleet), but it should still be an ISA ship. I dont think its fair to take it off the ISA.

The ships on loan but the crew are EA and the Rangers bonus is a standard across the board, the crew of the Excalibur are the best and brightest of Earthforce (and highly motivated) so I think a higher CQ than Rangers is not asking too much

Yes give the extra love to the EA for they are the way

And the the Excalibur's crew got 13 episodes... the Rangers only got a pilot episode.

So obviously the Excalibur will be better.

Those were not rangers. Those were imaginary people in a mysterious film that has mysteriously locked itself in a corner of my mind where it will never be accessed again. Its in there with such other terrors as the Matrix sequels, Highlander 3 and Star Trek V.

So that makes the crew of the Excalibur even better, right?

ps. if you dont get it then I would say watch Star Trek V, but that would be a breach of basic human rights so I will just say its from that movie and if you value your souls and are lucky enough NOT to have seen it just count your blessings :P

At least that's better than the part of my brain that I burned out to rid myself of the Memories of Highlander 2.

Meanwhile on the planet Ziess...........

Terminator 3 is in there too

The ISA fleet list is very small, even with the new additions from 2e. The EA have quite a few ships to choose from. The fact that the EA would get the use of one of the ISA's few ships does not leave a good taste in my mouth. I would rather see the EA get their own ship than access to our Victory class.

Maybe if the EA had a shortage of ships or the ISA had quite a few, my mind could change. As it stands, with only one war choice and one armageddon choice in the ISA, I don't feel comfortable giving the EA more choices in those brackets. Even using the Allies rule, the ISA can't normally get a FAP worth of ships in the War or Armageddon range.
