Problem with B5 Traveller?

I am just now getting to/through my old Galactic Guide (2005?) and hit the same problem.

Costs are clear, chance to find transport/charter ride is fine, and I know that directional ripples will either increase the time 1d20% or decrease the time 1d10%. But nowhere do I find base travel times to modify or get a sense of the total length of a trip through hyperspace.

So a major route takes 1d3 days. Can you either point me to the table I am overlooking in this specific book, or share here what the values would be for minor and restricted routes?

As for the "slipping off beacon" and "finding your bearings" tables on pp 152/153, was the intent to equate a major route with "well travelled hyperspace", minor with "somewhat travelled", restricted with "lightly travelled" and anything else as "untravelled"?

Thanks much!

Unfortunately I just ordered the Universe of B5 without seeing this scathing review. Now I'm afraid that I'm going to get a book that has too many errors in it. I can't find an errata anywhere for it. Does anyone have a copy of the errata that was apparently posted at one time but isn't on the site anymore. If you do, would you please private message me so that I can send you my email address and get a copy of the errata. I'd be much obliged!

Don't worry about it, errata always gets over blown with regards to Mongoose products. I can't tell you how many times I have seen people tear Mongoose apart on these errata issues. Then I look at the errata issues of the big games, like 4E D&D, or 3E D&D, or back at all the errata for old Classic Traveller and MegaTraveller, and people play, or played, those games just fine. Or games like Shadowrun, or Legend of the 5 Rings, heck, just name a game.

Just realize there are a lot of overly anal people on the internet.

Every system that I've played has had errors too. Most of the time it has been ok but occasionally it has made things really difficult. Somehow we manage to have fun anyway.

Yep. By the way, while I think that Universe of Babylon 5 for Mongoose
Traveller is not as good as The Babylon 5 Roleplaying Game for d20, it
has only few problems, and all of them can be dealt with easily with a
little imagination and a small number of house rules.

Yeah. I actually have it. I think I have the first edition (maybe that was the only one). My problem is that I really don't like d20.
