So I bought the PDF and I want to print it but is there a print friendly version? I would love not to kill my ink with the gray background. Any help out there?

If the PDF has the text actually formatted as text rather than as an image, you should be able to copy and paste the text into a word processor before printing it out.
it's probably cheaper if you stick it on a CD and get it printed by Staples or office world or some such, fraction of the price of a new cartridge/oner

the free PDFs on the site are formatted like that, so it stands to reason the purchase ones are too. you can select the text easily by clicking on edit and select all in Acrobat.
