In relaton to your sig, wasn't Lorien's question "Why are you here?"

He starts with "Who are you?"
Which is a far different and more powerful question than "What do you want?"
Then he hits up "Why are you here?"
And finally: "Do you have anything worth living for?"

Always hard to figure what is 'canon' now days.

The novels, the B5Wars books, the non-published scripts, post series productions...etc....

Anyway I think to original question answer would be: No.

Let's see...

Galen spoke about destruction on scale never seen before. Also about Centauri trying to take out one power that could stop them. Destroying city isn't scale never seen before(WE have that power available...) and NYK, while big city, wouldn't stop Earth. Only get them strike back with full strenght with holy fury. Therefore threat seems to be planetary armageddon style. If that would happen you would think that the folks discussing about B5 100 year after events(in the S4 episode) would have mentioned it yes?

Something as devastating as planetary armageddon(only thing that would make sense with destruction on scale never seen before. We have power to take out invidual cities, Centauri have power to bombard others back to stone age so what's left? Planetary armageddon...) would have been mentioned somewhere. Inserting one out of blue-moon just wouldn't make sense.

Therefore I believe it's JMS intention for it to be possible future which Sheridan ensures doesn't happen by taking Vintari under his wings.

LOL
Absolutely agree.
I thought the Legion of Fire Trilogy was superb.
And to me, it is the definitive end of the story regarding David/Londo/Vir/Drakh.
As usual i'm sure JMS is gonna let artistic arrogance mess this up.

Sorry. Seen that, too.
Shadows and Vorlons both demonstrated the ability to destroy whole worlds.
Next step up would be to shatter a star...

Who in turn is nearly as powerful as a monolith, going on the assumption that it is easier to destroy than to create, and the monoliths managed to make a star in 2010.
