Possible Spell?

I recently stumbled across this little ritual for Unknown Armies; does anyone think that, with the appropriate customisation, it might be adaptable for Conan D20?

When first thinking about converting spells for Conan, I feel you must look at what is available and see if it compares another spell like it.

Most of the supplements have more spells in it, especially Scrolls of Skelos.

I cannot imagine another spell book for Conan with JUST SPELLS, as it takes away the flavor of the game.

Ask yourself, is there really a need for a spell like this? Will it offset the balance of the game?

It's a pretty brutal ritual to be casting on yourself. I wouldn't use the whole kit and kaboodle from Unknown Armies. Rather you could take the idea of ripping out your tongue and replacing it with something bad, then adapt it to Conan. It could be a long forgotten Ritual used by Stygian Sorcerers....
