Playtest Saturdays

Got a new game here at Mongoose, needs playtesters.

It is sci-fiee, spaceyee, and I would like to... observe some people as they play (I'll have a white cloak, clipboard and everything ). This would take place on Satrudays over the next couple of months and, ideally I would like the same people to play - doesn't mean I want/need you at every single gathering, but if you can undertake to come more than once, I'll be a happy bunny

Any takers?

um... would you cover the cost of a yank relocating close to MGP-HQ to regularly participate? Would need airfair, housing (single room with Broadband Internet, unshared bath), and board (um.. how long does it take to adjust to English food). Oh! and a British-to-English dictionary.

Don't forget freight to cover moving your stuff over and replacement costs for devices using 110 voltage or converters... Not to mention NTSC/PAL...

Yeah I know the problems with electronics... I was planning on just bringing my books/clothes, have all my data and stuff on portable storage, then raiding Matt's home or Mongoose HQ for everything I needed.

No I'm stuck in 'Pohdunk', Washington... aka 'SpoCompton' and 'SpoGhetto'. Ok It's really Spokane Washington (Spoh-Can, silent E on the end but totally ignoring rules of English grammar. Complain about the ass who created the English version of the Spocan Indian Tribe and, they'll think you're cursing out the tribe themselves.)

To make matters worse, we're on the far eastern edge of the "dry side" of Washington, because as the winds move east from the Pacific ocean across Seattle and run into the Cascade Mountiains, they drop a majority of their water on that side. We're also called the "Dull Side".

For many years, right over the border into Idaho about 40 miles from Spokane was the national headquarters for the American Neo-Nazi Party and the Skinhead organization. That was for like 40 years until they lost all their land and finances to a mother/son couple who sued them for a bunch of shit violating their civil rights (amazingly the couple was white).

I'll take getting use to warm beer, bangers & mash, and shepards pie any day over this dump.

P.S. The city police force has lost a series of court cases involving police brutality and excessive force, the most recent involving the death of a gentleman who was known to be mentaly disabled. The city tried to make it out to be the victims fault - life sucked for them when the security footage surfaced showing the truth.
