Playtest Pack 1.7 is up!

Hi guys,

A little something for the weekend...

Just managed to update the Playtest Pack to 1.7. Took in your suggestions here, plus tweaked a few things I had my eye on. As always, check out the Playtest Pack.doc for a full list of changes.

I would like to see if you chaps would start some campaign games, as many of the changes affect Heroes and this is likely to be the 'default' style of play for the game (mainly because there is little reason _not_ to do it).

In particular;

1. Does the campaign system work? Getting a good number of games vs. Heroes going up levels (should be fairly brisk)?

2. If you are in a suggestive mood, I would be interested to hear ideas for new Talents, especially Talents dependant on others as prerequisites, so we get some 'Talent trees' going.

3. Judges too expensive now?

4. No one seems to be complaining about the Damage of the Heavy Spit Gun...

It seems to me that the core system is pretty solid, so more focus needs to go on play/points balance of characters and equipment, and the general structure of campaigns.

For 1.8, I am aiming to add Psychics (and Zombies!). Probably a bit ambitious to say vehicles as well, but they are on their way. Just building myself a mo-pad right now!

Oh, and we'll be making a proper announcement tomorrow, but two new Street Judges (brand new sculpts) have just gone up on the web site!
