Player Handout questions

We have our books, but we are looking to get some games in before we buy some miniatures (when they finally appear in our stores). Are there any good paper tokens of ships or anything akin to this so we can try it out and play with it while waiting for our minis? Are there some easilly available tracking sheets for tracking ship damage and things like that?

Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't think there are any "handouts" in the sense of free downloads or anything.

Official record sheets (cards, actually) will be available soonish from what I understand. You can see them here

As for counters, while not an official "Call to Arms: Star Fleet", one of ADB's other Star Fleet Games, Federation Command, has small 1" square counters available. Right here. I've got a set and they're quite nice for playing with. They come with counters for all the races and ships in CTA:SF (usually 2-4 or each ship) and also several other races that have yet to be introduced to CTA:Star Fleet.

However, neither of these things are free.

ADB has some you can use to an extent - there's a limited range of basic counters available for download on the Gallery section of their website, in varying sizes - I have printed out some of those on card at between 1" and 2" size square format for my games using photoshop and powerpoint to get them printed out on card with a fire arc cross on for ACtA. There are many ships that these counters do not cover, but many core ones are present.
