Placement of Firezone?

Depending on the cover available on the board I coupld stop that fairly easy I am sure... Cool Mind you I could also take an armoured company of my EFTF and laugh at you (well untill your Feds and RPG gunners got close)

Have to admit, that armoured companies did give me some grief until I re-read the rule on elevated terrain and realized that gunners can get an extra +2 when they meet the conditions. For Feds that could mean hitting with a D10+4; gee, I really love those easy to open tops!

And since most armored transports can't react, surrounding them with technicals before popping the top, means the troops inside, don't last long.

Note: Feds in Technicals are also deadly. Though gunners hit with a -1, they can still be counted on to do a lot of damage.

BTW I finally managed to have my Feds charge a tank! The resulting blast was magnificent! The suspense of waiting until the next turn to see the results was well worth it.

In , i think it was my second game, at the doubles tourney, I strategically placed the firezones of my 2 MGs of my Challenger to take out the 2 RPG carrying PLA soldiers. Would have been perfect if I had salso noticed another RPG hiding in among some of the USMC allied to the PLA in that game.
