Page 26, Military career skills table, Flight section, there is no entry for a roll of 5.
Perception, Orbital Mechanics or Zero-G might be appropriate. Charm might also work for pilots mystic or Remote Operations for remote pilots or weapons operators as well.

Page 11, "If the Pioneer species" should be "If the Pioneer specifies". This paragraph makes it appear that Military Academy is an option, but this is the only place in the book this is mentioned.

During Character Generation, can a Pioneer change career from a Crew type career into a Passenger type career, and vice versa? There is nothing in the rulebook to say they can't, but the crew/passenger distinction suggests to me that there is supposed to be separate career paths between the two categories.

The Pioneer PDF internal links don't work the same as Traveller CRB PDF. Namely:
