Lol, I couldnt really do much else as a thank you for all the trouble youve gone to this past day, so I made a sig! :lol: I really am thankful for the trouble of making this ship a reality, I am getting to be really proud of the stubby fella!
Anyways, the ship has one dton of fuel processing and I split the dton into a square that will sit ontop each wing (so two squares for 1dton).
They are positioned where the wing meets the body, at the same line of squares across as the turret, if you know what I mean. I guess I could say theyre positioned as below;
<X--T--X>
I hope that makes sense
As for the fuel scoops theyre built into the hull, but I kinda picture them being under the wings, I'd have them towards the front of the wing, but really wherever they would realistically be for a streamlined hull is cool. I didnt put them on my deckplan as I assumed they were under the wingspace.
Scoops and stuff done:
First shot, the starboard scoops in the open position. It's exactly the same on the other side.

Then the processor 'hump' atop the wing. Its slanted so it doesn't cause much problem in flight.

I liked the slanted fuel processor units so thats all cool, plus any added realism would be cool to the plan.
Everything is awesome and in place, but the airlock is back too far on the new model pic (I noticed in the second one).
The Airlock's right side should be lined up where the wing front meets the body, and the porthole would be on the next square to it.
The Airlock's current location is where staterooms would be, so where it is would be where a single escape pod hatch be (there are two staterooms facing each other on the interior, each has an escape pod, one hatch on each side, these arent important to the design however, just to let you know a little of the interior).
Argh!
I will change it... at some point
The main problem with sighting it that far forward is that it will sit the porthole on the nosecone, which would be... uncomfortable to attempt in sketchup...
I can try, but I make no promises. I can certainly push the airlock forward some though...
