PDF to JPG

All my designs are in PDF format. I can only upload JPG's and TIFF's to this board.

I am very wary of downloading "crap" onto my computer. Is there a PDF to JPG converter that you trust?
Is there an easy way to convert without downloading special software?
Thanks

So... I went to my original CADD file and was able to print of a JPEG, only 199 kb
But every time I try to drag and drop into window I get an error.
Am I doing something wrong?
I've never tried to upload any of my designs before.

Tried it again... the error message says "sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached"

Yeah, it's been full for awhile now. Other way is store it somewhere and provide a link.

On a related topic, I do my new 2D vector designs in Inkscape (but I have a lot of old ones in Paint Shop Pro). Because the native file format for Inkscape is compressed text, I can share designs as Inkscape text format, if the intent is for them to be shareable and editable. But it's nice to be able to see the images too, and for that there's JPEG and PNG.

Browsers can render SVG so should be fine with the native format. (I've certainly pulled up Inkscape SVG files in a browser before). Can export directly to PNG anyways so that should work if you need a bitmap format.

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I have never uploaded images so that I can provide links for random people to download and view.
I do have a dropbox, but that is for my friends and gaming groups. Honestly I don't want to share that with the world... ;)

What is the best way to upload my pdf's to a neutral site and provide the link for this board?

Isn't really any best way. Not sure with dropbox not having used it but if you can set individual files/folders public or link only or whatever should be able to do it that way, just make whatever you post on here share with any or link only and the rest more restricted, or link only anyways.

Note images can be put inline so they display when the thread is open, good in that people can see it quickly, bad in that it takes longer to load the thread while the image is downloaded/displayed.

Imgur is a very popular image upload site. You don't need an account to upload, and they're really easy to embed.

You may have to open link in a new tab to get the full image URL that ends in .jpg. You then place that URL within an IMG tag (click on the picture icon above to get the tags). Finally, just add the 'http://' to the beginning of the link and you're good!

For example:

Code:
[img]http://i.imgur.com/DnFSUae.jpg[/img]

Becomes

DnFSUae.jpg

I'm off to play Disc Golf with a bunch of friends, many of them computer programmers. Hopefully by tonight I can start linking some items from my computer, or via a third party like happy weekend pup. ;)
