Now first off, I MUCH prefer physical books to pdf's, and I invariable end up buying the book. Sometimes though I but pdf's from Drivethru -and I have very positively reviewed Ralios on rpg.net
However, and maybe it's just me, when I come to print them off, I find myself running out of ink very quickly. Problem is that the text is too light, or rather the contrast is too low to allow for Draft quality printing, and the page backgrounds are very pretty but extremely ink heavy. Now illustrations and maps etc - sure, very good, but the beautiful page backgrounds while highly desirable in a book, are a pain in the proverbial when buying pdf's.
I have no local rpg shop, and am not sure if Mongose have a retail outlet in Swindon - it so it is by far my nearest, and i'll come to the offices and buy books if that is allowed, and you can get them there form the warehouses. Postage is the real killer y'see.
Anyway, I'm guessing the books have a background template, could that not just be removed for the pdf files, or the contrast ramped up? They are superb quality books but I'm spending a small fortune printing off small bits, and i'm too old to be lugging a lap top to games with me. So is there any way we can increase the printability of the pdf files?
Congrats on issuing the wonderful deal that is the MRQ Deluxe btw. Really, really appreciated.
