Mongoose
Anyone interested in joining a PbP game?
It's on RPoL.
The game will be using the Mongoose Traveller Rules and the 3rd Imperium Reft setting as released by Mongoose. Much of the details are fill in the blank and may not adhere to whatever setting info comes from previous versions but I do look things up in the Traveller wiki and try not to reinvent the wheel.
Looking for 2 or 3 people who have the core rules and knowledge of Mongoose chargen. You should be capable of posting almost every day, or at least check in on the game for new posts that might involve your character. I acknowledging that some days are missed as ones real life takes president.
It will initially be a non ship centered game with the current group of characters working for a chemical company as fixers/support. The company has teams of field scientists and all their support and infrastructure scour planets, moons, and other stellar bodies hoping to find new specialty chemicals. Looking to expand outside of the Imperium into the Islands of the Reft Sector, the current group of characters is support for 6 scientists on their way to Amondiage to join the 4 people the company already has doing initial field work examining the local plant and wildlife. We have 5 people playing support characters.
Scientist or support, there are lots of ways to get you into the story as the group is still in transit to Amondiage.
The name of the Game is "Control your Destiny" and as the game title implies, the players will be in control of their characters destiny. Mostly this game will be a sandbox where I have a general outline and try to keep things moving forward but don't mind taking a left turn and throwing my ideas out if players are having fun going in a different direction than I planned.
