Patrol Boats

Has any one played the Planetary Assualt at Battle Level and had the opposing player take 15 Patrol Boats for 3 Satellites? Does anyone think that 5 Patrol Boats for 1 Satellite is a bit too much? It is a Hull 5 with 8 damage and 1 Satellite is Hull 4 with only 12 hit point. Granted the Patrol Boats weapons are weak, but it can be used as an initiative sink, unlike the Satellite.

Any thoughts?

I prefer defence sattelites purely for the sake of simplicity - I hate traking those hordes of patrol boats.

Truthfully, I don't think either are much use.

They are great initiative sinks, at least in the game last night. By the time they were done moving thier Patrol Boats, all ov our ships had moved. This meant we could not line up a shot at any of thier captial ships so the troop transports could land.
