Painting Gaim Fleet

Does anyone have any tips on painting the Gaim Intelligence fleet; what colors to use and highlight in and such? In particular I was wondering what the blued-steel color the predominates their hull in the pictures is.

Well you could concider giving few VERY thinned down blue ink layers? Wouldn't that give you that blue-steel color?

Just make them VERY thinned down or you'll have blue gaim ;-)

Vallejo Paints makes something called Gunmetal Blue in their Model Colors range. add some white and a drop or so of dark green, should be very close to the color seen on the models.

I was thinking something like a black primer, pewter gunmetal drybrush, and think blue ink wash.

dont know if its any use, but check out epicarmycard.com,cherns sit and look at the gaim pic, thats a silver blue i made black undercoat, light silver,then blue wash with a silver top coat lightly sprayed over
