Origins this week.

Mongoose
Anyone making the trip to Columbus this week? Been talking to the wife and think I will drop her butt off at one of the malls while I check it out.(been several years since last trip) Let me know, will try and hook up with ya. Would be great to meet fellow BFE fans.

Got invited by GF9, but I decided to pass. It would have been a tank of gas. $40 Taking my nefew, (I hate riding alone). Having to pay to go into the dealer area to say Hi to the gang. $25+$25+. Buying lunch $15. And for what, to look around, say HI to the gang, then head home?

Total $105 spend for 8 hours, most spent driving. AND all I have to show for it is some salutations and a painful leg that will give me fits for the next 3 days to remember things by.

NO THANKS.

(Looking forward to the pics)

Hear ya. Dont really want to go alone and dont really want to pay another 35 bucks and drag my wife around.

I'll tell em you said hey. Will post pics later today when I get back.

Back from Origins. Seems a lot smaller then several years ago when I went.
Anyhow here some Pics...

Really wanted to check out the promos of the wave 4, but nothing. Was told they still over across the pond, they had a show to take them to.

Nope, nothing, and the only "Show Specials" they had were on the old SST stuff. (must be cleaning house making room for new stuff, huh)

I attended Origins where I participated in the Battlefield Evolution tournament on Friday. I had a great time, losing in my first round but winning my next two games. :)

Mongoose was selling assorted single figures for $2.00 each. They went fast, but I managed to pick up a couple of PLA infantry corporals.

Now I'm trying to decide if I'm going to attend GenCon. So many conventions, so little time!

I was in RPG land most of the weekend while my wife worked the booth some and hopped in a game of Munchkin with Steve Jackson himself. At least I got to shake his hand and get a card signed. :)

I'm going to Gencon this year and plan to try a tournament or two. I figure I can pack my BF:E and B5:ACTA (counters) in a messenger back and be set. :)

p.s. If you see me, stop me and say hi. I had a great game of B5 RPG with Cartman.
