Online resources for traveller

Traveller Map is amazing, especially the print abilities. Here are some of my other faves:

Thanks for sharing those links people, some of them will be really helpful.

I love the Traveller Map, but can someone explain why it appears that many worlds are marked as Amber zones - e.g. in Albadawi sector there are many worlds marked as Amber zones, but in the Solomani Rim book only something like two worlds are marked as Amber zones in the UWP profiles? Is this map automatically placing any worlds with military rule as amber zones or something?

Thanks in advance

One of the last data updates I received (circa December 2015) incorporated a change in how Amber zones were calculated, dramatically increasing the number. Feedback has been given, but unfortunately the person responsible for working with Marc Miller on the updates passed away suddenly and we haven't rebooted the data update process due to everybody's other commitments.

Oh man that's horrible! Sorry to hear that! The map is awesome (my players were really impressed with it - and the printouts - when we did our first session this weekend) so it's not an issue - mostly curious.

For those interested in a strictly canonical look at the Third Imperium...

Combined with DonM's Integrated Timeline, that's quite a bit of interesting material for OTU games.

Just stumbled across this site which I'm going to find very useful and thought I'd share:

http://calormen.com/tns/

Has written news flashes for Traveller (both OTU and GT) chronologically.
