Offer: Nemesis for Warlocks

EDFDarkAngel1

Mongoose
I have two Nemesis Advanced Destroyers, painted primarily dark gray, named Enterprise and Intrepid. I am looking, specifically, for Warlock Advanced Destroyers. Preferably unpainted.

If interested, please reply to this post. Thank you!

i have an better suggest for you....replace the top hull of one of your Nemesis trough an (buying by MGP) Warlock Hull. i think this is a better deal. this part should not be so expensiv.

I have a couple questions, and the similarities are such that I am not sure just by looking at the pictures on the website.

Is the top hull the only change from the Nemesis? I note that the Warlock top is longer, but is the engine and the under section the same for both? I had hoped that the parts list for the Nemesis would be posted to see if they are different, but it's not posted for the Nemesis yet.

yep...that is the joke....
the only difference between the Nemesis and the Warlock is the Top Hull....and this small spikey parts, but this is not important.
and no the other parts are the Warlock parts....it is really only the Top Hull that makes it to an Nemesis.
not more, not less
so...buy this top hull and you can save a lot of money...

well you do need the front guns, and turret spues, all in all plus postage to uk is £6.50 (iknow i done the same) :)

oh yes....sorry i forgot the front guns and the turrets
you see..all in all cheaper as an complete Warlock or Nemesis :D

Or just field your Nemeses (the plural of Nemesis is NEMESES :D) and count them as Warlocks. IIRC the two can no longer be fielded in the same fleet anyway so there is no risk of confusion.

That is the cheapest option of all. Considering the game allows you to use counters, using mini to represent a very similar mini should be nothing to worry about.

But as a proper noun, you don't alter the original name at all so it actually becomes Nemesises as a plural.

(Just imagine you were called Iris. If there were several people called Iris you wouldn't call them a group of Ires - yeah I know the root of the word is different but the principle remains)

Actually in a war, armageddon or battle level game, Psi Corps could field Nemese... Nemesise... N-ships and at least one Warlock.

What about me, I misread the subject line and thought "Mongoose is doing a Nemesis the Warlock 2000AD game?! Sweet!" :)

Wouldn't they be refered to as Iris's?
