Odd question from PsiCorp book.

1.The Cyberpath has their brain treated chemically to make it receptive to computers rather than humans.
2. The Shadow Telepath rig inserts electrodes? into the brain to give the telepath the abilities of a 5th level Cyberpath.
3. Since they haven't benn chemically treated, does this mean that someone with a shadow telepath rig can affect people as well as computers?
4. Cyberpaths requirements are P3+. Wouldn't they limit the upper levels, so as not to "waste" any high P-rating people. Also I don't think it had bee a member of Psicorp in good standing either. If I was modifying people that way, I would make damn sure they were loyal.

Can't see why not.

Not really, remember it's not something you exactly volunteer for. The Corps would want a few high P rated cyberpaths for the really tricky stuff.

The act of the modification pretty much ensures this I'd have thought. No longer a telepath as such, but you still carry all the stigma, plus you'd probably need top up medication. If you weren't in good standing before, you'd be doing your damnedest to be afterwards.

One thing I always wondered about the Shadow Telepath Rig. When they say "All abilities of a 5th level Cyberpath", do they include skill points and hit points? I've been assuming no.
