Number of fighters per base

The "consensus" (in so much that the rules are clear at the moment and haven't changed) is that it's however many flights you can physically move into contact with an opponent's base (that can be any size your opponent choses). The consensus also appears to be that nobody likes this arrangement and would prefer either a standard base size or a standard number to be allowed into contact - this number could be fixed regardless of ship or based on ship PL/size.

I think the Avioki is a good example for the 10 damage per flight
its supposed to be big and (cargo) spacious so therefore would be more vulnerable to "contact flight" attacks
its the smaller sturdier Narn ships that should have issues with the house rule, "rule of ten"
blah blah

do we think we should start a poll to find out peoples thoughts?

Would be good, potential options:

"Rule of ten"
"Define ships' official base sizes"
"No change to current rules"
"Based on ships' Priority Level"

Why skip the fixed number per ship, base pl damage irrelevant?

It just shows a bias to me, that you don't even want to include it in the list. It manipulative to only put out options you like as a list, it implies there aren't other ways of dealing with it, or other suggestions on the table.

No reason from my point of view - just missed it off my list by accident :)

The main poll question could do with more options - shame you can't ammend it once underway (not that people could change their votes either).

Actually, there is one way to "amend" the poll... just start a new one...
It may not be an ideal solution, but it would work...
