NPC Reactions

How does MGT handle NPC reactions?
I searched the SRD, but could not find any such mechanic to deal with this.
Is there relevant material in the published books not in the SRD?

I do not remember to have seen such rules in any of my MGT books, but
I am not really sure, because I would not have used them anyway.

As far as I remember MGT doesn't have such a dynamic, as it is usually the GM that moderates NPC reactions.

however, if you are designing an encounter then you may wish to build a flow chart around the characters interactions.

Personally playing NPC's is the best bit about being a GM, so i tend to do everything on the fly anyway. I know where i want the encounter to go, i know the attitude of the NPC, but how the characters interact is upto the players and i play off that.

Prison Planet covered NPC initial reactions, along with the Reputation and Gang Reputation ratings.

And Agent introduced the Trust rating for organisations.

It mentions "demanding a surrender" in scoundrels piracy section, however I found that allowing that to achieve a surrender was a teensy bit overpowered.

Now I do such things as opposed rolls and work out what the result would be based on the effect (such as the other nights "We can't talk to you our comms are damaged and we totally aren't pirates...")
