Nottingham Gamers...

Might seem a daft question, but is there a game store in Nottingham (UK) i can get Mongoose products at? Since the closure of Travelling Man, i've bought on-line, but Mongoose don't like it....

Theres no game shop in Nottingham to buy Monggoose products as far as I know I bought my stuff from spirit games in Burton on Trent its about an hours train ride from Notts.

Google spirit games for their website, they do mail order too.

We're in Derby, and we end up going to Spirit Games as well. Phil At Spirit is definitely your best bet.

The selection at Forbidden Planet just isn't worth it ...

Guess your stuck with Spirit matie.

There a good shop and deserve your support, The shops bang next to the train station if your going by rail.

Like John said forbidden planet just doesn't cut it and if Travelling Man was still in Notts i wouldn't have held much hope out when I got back into gaming I asked about Traveller looking for the d20 stuffand was told it was a dated game and there was no interest in it. Ended up buying pdfs off drive thru rpg and going to spirit and buying a load of GURPS Traveller stuff. (Yeah I know i'm a fanboy - you could put a turd in a black and red cover and write Traveller on it and I'd probably buy it!).

Nice to see theres some local support for the game maybe we could organise an east mids Traveller meet or something.

We're lucky enough to have a nice dedicated RPG store in Birmingham but there's a selection of core rule books and various supplements for RPGs in the Waterstones book store too.

Waterstones doesn't have a vast selection but last time I perused their shelves they had games like Traveller, D&D, Call of Cthulhu, Trail of Cthulhu, Battlestar Galactica, Dark Heresy, Star Wars, Serenity and others.

I know that not every town's Waterstone bookstore carries the same stuff but you could give them a try.
